Save the Date: Miami Valley Hospital Wellness Run/Walk

Early registration is open for the Miami Valley Hospital Wellness Run/Walk this spring. The Miami Valley Hospital Physician Wellness Committee has planned the event for 10:00 am Saturday, April 13, at Island Metro Park, 101 E. Helena St., in Dayton. Proceeds benefit the Miami Valley Hospital Wellness Fund.

The run/walk will feature 5K and 10K lengths, as well as a 1-mile Fun Run for children. There will also be a pre-event yoga session offered at 9:00 am. Leashed pets are welcome.

Participants can register online. Early registration, available through March 26, is $27 and comes with a shirt, post-run snacks, and beverages. Registration received between March 27 and April 11 is $30 and also comes with post-run snacks and beverages, but a shirt is not guaranteed. Registration closes at 11:59 pm April 11.

Participants can earn Premier Healthy Living points – 50 points for the 5K or 100 points for the 10K.
