The Premier Heart Associates to Offer Free Venous Disease Screenings

DAYTON, Ohio (October 14, 2015) – Venous disease causes the valves that control blood flow to become weak and damaged, which makes blood build up in the veins. As blood settles, veins swell and bulge, often leading to leg swelling, pain, and sometimes varicose veins.

If you have aching and pain in your legs, then you might have venous disease. The Premier Heart Associates will offer a free venous disease screening Tuesday, October 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. at its Englewood office, located at 9000 N. Main St., Suite 101. No physician referral is necessary. Those who would like to be screened for the disease simply have to register by calling 1-866-608-3463.

The Premier Heart Associates is a six-physician cardiology practice that provides personalized care for a variety of heart-related conditions. Patients are seen at four convenient locations throughout the Greater Dayton area including Englewood, Huber Heights, Beavercreek, and Springfield.
