Atrium Medical Center HEAL Program to hold Walk to Remember

Angel of Hope in content MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (September 21, 2016) – Atrium Medical Center’s Help Endure a Loss (HEAL) Program will host its 18th Annual Walk to Remember at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 2. The event will take place at the HEAL Memory Garden on the Atrium Medical Center campus at One Medical Center Drive in Middletown. Anyone who has been touched by the death of a child, regardless of age or circumstance, is welcome to attend.

The HEAL Memory Garden, located on the east side of the hospital, is a quiet place where families can go to remember and celebrate the lives of children who have gone far too soon. It features the Angel of Hope monument, a nationally recognized symbol of hope and healing.

Guests are asked to park in front of Atrium Family YMCA building entrance on Atrium Medical Center’s campus. Registration and mementos for the Walk will be available at the welcome station. The ½ mile walk will begin promptly at 2 p.m. followed by a memorial “reading of their names” and ceremonial balloon release at the garden.

For more information about this year’s Walk or the HEAL Program, contact Sheree Young at (513) 705-4056 or visit www.AtriumMedCenter.org/HEAL.
