Covington Football Team is UVMC Team of the Month
The undefeated Covington High School Buccaneers football team is the UVMC Center for Sports Medicine Team of the Month for September.
The team, led by head Coach Dave Miller, had a 9-0 overall record and was 8-0 in the Cross County Conference as of Oct. 28. Those victories have included four shut outs of opponents.
In addition to Miller, the team is coached by Tom Barbee, Gregg Carnes, Shad Earick, Jeff Schwartz, Bill Besecker and Tike Swank.
