Schedule a Screening Mammography Appointment Near You in May

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (May 17, 2016) – Premier Health is making it easier for busy women to get their annual mammogram screening with its mobile mammography coach that travels to businesses and public venues such as schools, churches and events throughout Southwest Ohio. 

Equipped with advanced imaging technology, the coach offers traditional 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional mammography to detect breast cancer. 

Getting a mammogram on the mobile coach is easy and convenient. Women make an appointment and visit the easy-to-access coach at a location near them. No doctor’s order is needed for a screening mammogram for women age 40 and older.

The following dates and times are open to the public for appointments:

  • May 18, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm at MidPointe Library, 125 S. Broad St., Middletown, OH 45044;
  • May 23, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at Miami Valley Hospital Springboro Imaging Center, 630 N. Main St., Springboro, OH 45066; and
  • May 28, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at Monroe Medical Center, 20 Overbrook Dr., Monroe, OH 45050.

The self-contained, 37-foot-long mobile coach, which is owned and operated by Atrium Medical Center, is comfortable and upscale with a reception area, private dressing rooms and mammography suite. It’s staffed by an all-female team. The mobile mammography coach was made possible by generous donors to Atrium Medical Center Foundation.
