How We Treat Head and Neck Cancer
Once we have all your test results, our team will work together to create a care plan that’s right for you. Treatment goals can include controlling or curing your cancer to improving quality of life through symptom management. We’ll use these goals to guide our conversations and recommendations.
Treatment options can include:
- Removal of primary (main) cancer tumor or other tumors
- Killing or stopping the growth or spread of cancer cells
- Prevention or delay of your cancer's return
- Symptom management, such as pain or pressure in nearby tissue

Head and Neck Treatment Types
