Greenville Heart Center Strengthens Commitment to Community With New Physician

GREENVILLE, Ohio (March 12, 2015) – Timothy Markus, MD, has become the newest member of the Greenville Heart Care team. Dr. Markus is a full-time cardiologist at the practice, which also includes Sameh Khouzam, MD, Kevin Kravitz, MD, and Kamran Riaz, MD. Dr. Markus has more than 25 years of experience and is certified in cardiovascular disease. Elaine Post, a certified nurse practitioner specializing in acute and cardiac care, will work closely with Dr. Markus to care for patients in the Greenville market.

Greenville Heart Care offers complete cardiac services such as electrophysiology, pacemaker and defibrillator surveillance, and nuclear stress testing. It also offers consultation and evaluation for coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease and heart valve disorders. The practice offers patient-focused, cost-effective care including many in-office procedures such as echocardiograms, electrocardiograms, heart rhythm monitoring, and arterial, carotid and renal ultrasounds. The practice also has an anticoagulation clinic.
