Miami Valley Hospital Names New Chief Nursing Officer

(Dayton, OH) April 2, 2014 - Miami Valley Hospital has named Jolyn Angus, MBA, BSN, RN to its executive team, serving as Vice-President and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). The appointment was announced by Sylvain Trepanier, Premier Health Vice President and System Chief Nursing Officer, and Mark Shaker, MVH President and CEO.

Angus has been a nurse executive since 2006 working for Tenet Health System based Dallas Texas. She has held leadership roles in hospitals based in Georgia, California and Florida.

Angus initially obtained her diploma in nursing in 1982. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1996 from Clayton State College, GA and completed an MBA in 2001from Georgia State University. She is now enrolled in a Doctorate program at the University of Illinois.
