Easy Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe (soft to touch) avocados
  • 1 lime
  • 1 small jalapeno (seeded & chopped)
  • 1/2 small onion (diced)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt (or garlic powder)
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes)
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped (or 1 teaspoon refrigerated cilantro paste)

Instructions

  1. Cut avocados in half, remove pit, and put flesh in medium bowl. Add jalapeno and onion.
  2. Mash together with a fork until all blended and large chunks of avocado are mashed.
  3. Squeeze juice of lime over mixture. Add in spices and herbs.
  4. Give one final mix with fork to incorporate all ingredients.
  5. Chill in refrigerator until ready to use.
  6. Will keep well if sealed in refrigerator for up to 5 days. Can be frozen and thawed in refrigerator.
  7. Use to dip chips, top potatoes or salads, put on tacos, burritos or toast!
