Premier Blood and Cancer Center Rapid Diagnosis Clinic

The Rapid Diagnosis Clinic at Premier Blood and Cancer Center ensures patients are seen within 24 to 48 hours of an incidental finding. The APP-led clinic allows for timely initiation of the necessary work-up while offering emotional and educational support throughout the patient’s cancer journey.

Services provided:

• Immediate referral access for our ED, primary care physicians, and APPs to connect through a dedicated, secure chat via EPIC referral (PNN PBCC Rapid Diagnosis Clinic), allowing the patient to be scheduled within 24 to 48 hours.
• Immediate access for patients to visit with one of our APPs within 24 to 48 hours, in-person or via telehealth.
• Direct access for patients to diagnostic testing and early evaluation through our clinic.
• After an initial work-up, the patient will be seen by one of our medical or surgical oncologists as needed for discussion around treatment needs.
• We will facilitate a connection to one of our primary care providers and other needed resources as appropriate.
