Presentation from Alonzo Patterson III, MD (Dayton Children’s Hospital) 

Biographical Sketch: Alonzo Patterson III, M.D. has served children and families as a general pediatrician for over 30 years, mostly in West Dayton. A graduate of Wilbur Wright High School, Wright State University, and the University of Cincinnati, he returned to Dayton after completing residency at Nationwide Children’s.

He has taught medical students for 3 decades having received multiple teaching awards, has been recognized by various groups for his community service and child advocacy and was named a Top Ten African American Male by Parity Inc. He currently serves as the Chief Medical Health Equity officer for Dayton Children’s Hospital and President Elect of the Board of Health, Public Health Dayton, and Montgomery County.
