Celebrating Match Day 2026 at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine

I am incredibly proud of our medical students and all they have accomplished. Recently, they have matched into some of the most competitive residency programs across the country—a testament to their talent, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Notably, more than 41% of our graduating class will enter primary care, 51% will remain in Ohio, and 22% will continue their training right here in the Dayton metropolitan area.

I am equally pleased to share that 100% of our residency and fellowship positions—across all 29 programs offered through Wright State University and Premier Health—have been successfully filled. This is a remarkable achievement and a powerful reflection of our shared mission to train the next generation of physicians while strengthening the health of the communities we serve.
