Celebrating a Milestone in Innovation: 30,000 Robotic Surgeries and Counting

Premier Health has reached a major milestone—completing 30,000 robotic surgical procedures using the Intuitive Da Vinci platform. We are the first health system in the region to achieve this volume, reflecting our commitment to advancing surgical care through innovation, education, and patient-centered excellence.

Robotic-assisted surgery is now an essential part of our surgical portfolio, spanning oncologic, gynecologic, urologic, thoracic, and general procedures. The benefits for patients are clear: smaller incisions, greater precision, reduced blood loss, shorter hospital stays, and faster recoveries. For physicians, it means access to leading-edge technology and training to deliver the best possible care.

As we celebrate this milestone, we are focused on the future—investing in next-generation platforms, expanding simulation training, and extending robotic capabilities across more specialties. Thank you to the surgeons, nurses, technicians, and staff who made this achievement possible.
