How is peripheral arterial disease treated in its early stages?

Peripheral arterial disease, or PAD, can be treated conservatively in its early stages. Such as diet, watching what we eat, controlling our risk factors, stopping smoking and exercise. It is recommended that you walk at least 20-30 minutes a day, ideally in a supervised exercise program.
