What is an electrophysiologist?

Electrophysiology is the study of the electrical system of the heart. General cardiologists generally deal with the heart muscle or the arteries of the heart; electrophysiologists deal with the electrical system of the heart. They deal with heart rhythm problems, heart rate problems and treat those issues.
