Puberty is where a girls, they’re changing into the state, basically of a woman. So it starts at typically between age 11 and 14. Some girls even explain it between eighth and ninth birthday. The way that you can tell that girl is in puberty is the sex characteristics do start to develop. They become very moody at times, they withdraw from family, they tend to put their friends first, a lot of emotional conflicts. And it's very difficult for girls to experience this and not be able to verbalize. They don’t have the understanding typically and they feel like it's only happening to them they don't know really who to talk to. So it's very important to support your daughter or a family relative that is going to that age. Very important to acknowledge their feelings and give them hugs at times. Just sit and listen to them because they are going to kind of withdrawal from you a little.
