First-trimester screening for fetal abnormalities has been with us for a long time and most insurance companies do cover that. The additional tests that we do to screen for preeclampsia fall under the umbrella of first-trimester screening. So, most insurance companies cover this whole first-trimester screening without any problems. This may not apply to your specific insurance; therefore, you need to check.
