Farming is a way of life for Ryan Zimmerman and his family. A father of four young children, Ryan had his busy routine brought to a screeching halt in January 2021. One morning, just before Ryan was about to get ready for work, he lost feeling on his left side and had difficulty swallowing. What came next was completely unexpected. This is Ryan's story.

Debbie Lieberman is always on the go. As the Montgomery County Commission president, she manages the county’s budget and economic development and also focuses on topics dear to her heart, including infant mortality, preschool promise, and reentry and criminal justice reform. But as she experienced chronic pain in her leg, simple tasks like sitting down or climbing the stairs at the county building in Downtown Dayton began to slow her down. This is her story.
