Jeffrey A. James, DO - Medical Director

Jeffrey A. James, DODr. Jeffrey A. James received his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012. Dr. James completed a family medicine residency at TriHealth Bethesda in 2015 and a primary care sports medicine fellowship at TriHealth Bethesda in 2016. He is board certified in family medicine and practices with Premier Orthopedics.

Dr. James is a Credentialed ImPACT® Consultant trained in treating concussions as well as administering and interpreting the ImPACT® test.

Aloiya Earl, MD

1780067355Aloiya R. Earl, MD attended medical school at The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences in Toledo, OH. She completed The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program and the University of Alabama Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship.  

Dr. Earl is a member of a number of organizations including the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, North American Primary Care Research Group, American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Earl is board certified in family medicine. She holds other certifications including Evidence-based Vision Screening and Concussion Baseline Data Collection for NCAA Team Physicians, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification, and Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics.

Teresa Zryd, MD

Teresa ZyrdDr. Teresa W. Zryd serves as the chief academic officer and vice president for academic affairs/research at Premier Health. She was previously director of the Wright State University Family Medicine Residency, a position she held for more than 14 years. A 1995 graduate of Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, she now is an associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine and also holds a Master of Public Health from Western Kentucky University. Dr. Zryd has served as chief medical consultant for the Dayton Public Schools for more than 20 years. She is a former team physician for Fairborn City Schools. Her special interests include preventive medicine, school/public health, and adolescent medicine.

Mike Herbenick, MD - Orthopedic Consultant

1275565020Dr. Michael Herbenick graduated from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in 2000 and also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Wright State. Dr. Herbenick then completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine and practices with Premier Orthopedics.

James Klosterman, MD - Orthopedic Consultant

James J. Klosterman, MDDr. James Klosterman is the orthopedic consultant for Miami Valley Hospital Sports Medicine Center, Miami Valley Hospital North location. He practices with Premier Orthopedics and specializes in sports-related injuries, shoulder reconstruction, complex knee reconstruction, and minimally invasive knee replacement surgery.

Dr. Klosterman is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is a leader in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction in the Dayton area and has a special interest in ACL injury prevention.

Joe Rubino, MD - Orthopedic Consultant

L. Joseph Rubino, III, MDDr. Joseph Rubino graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1999. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Dr. Rubino completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Virginia. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. Dr. Rubino practices with Premier Orthopedics.
