White Coats in Action: GI Fellows Claim Ohio GI Jeopardy Championship
By Sangeeta Agrawal, MD, FACG, FASGE, AGAF, professor of medicine, Wright State University; section chief, gastroenterology; and GI fellowship program director
Knowledge, teamwork and a culture of learning came together for two of Premier Health’s GI fellows at the Ohio GI Society Regional Meeting.
Nikhil Reddy, MD, and Chris Casaccio, MD, represented Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and brought home the GI Jeopardy Championship Trophy, competing against GI Fellowship Programs throughout Ohio including Cleveland Clinic and Case Western.
Their achievement reflects the culture at the heart of Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and Premier Health’s graduate medical education programs. Trainees are encouraged to ask questions, learn from one another, challenge themselves and continually expand their knowledge and skills.
Faculty mentors play an important role in fostering that culture by teaching, supporting and challenging residents and fellows throughout their training.
Congratulations to Drs. Reddy and Casaccio on this well-earned achievement, and thank you to the faculty who continue to invest in their success.
We are proud to see our fellows represent Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and Premier Health so well.
