Patient Experience
Atrium Medical Center and Upper Valley Medical Center each earned an “A” Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group for Fall 2025, recognizing their ongoing commitment to patient safety and excellence.
Atrium Medical Center caregivers reunited with a former patient who survived postpartum cardiogenic shock. One year later, she returned with her son to thank the team that saved her life. The reunion received coverage from Cincinnati and Dayton news outlets, highlighting advanced life-saving care close to home.
Workforce Development
Atrium Medical Center welcomed students from seven local school districts for MedQuest, a hands-on exploration of healthcare careers, demonstrating Premier Health’s commitment to educating and inspiring future caregivers.
The Premier Health Learning Institute and Workforce Development, in collaboration with the Supply Chain department, hosted a Wright State University Supply Chain tour at Miami Valley Hospital, providing students with an inside look at health care supply chain management.
Partnerships and Foundation Updates
Miami Valley Hospital North was named Large Business of the Year by the Trotwood Chamber of Commerce, recognizing its strong community partnership and commitment to improving local health.
The Atrium Medical Center Foundation received more than $17,000 from Miami Valley Gaming through the Round Down for Charity Program to support the Mobile Mammography Coach, increasing access to breast cancer screenings.
The Middletown Community Foundation contributed more than $50,000 to the Care in the Air campaign over the past three years, including a recent gift of $15,837 to support CareFlight’s newest aircraft.
Good Samaritan Foundation–Dayton hosted its annual Rays of Hope Breakfast, raising support for Mothers Empowered, Samaritan Health Clinic, and Samaritan Behavioral Health, programs that provide vital services to families in need.
