Premier Health Leads Nation in GOG-3134 Enrollment

Premier Health continues to advance cancer care through clinical research. Under the leadership of Michael Guy, MD, gynecologic oncologist and principal investigator, Miami Valley Hospital South recently enrolled the first patient in the United States in the GOG-3134 clinical trial. The study is evaluating potential treatment options for select patients with recurrent platinum-sensitive ovarian cancer.

This milestone builds on Premier Health's growing presence in cancer research. In 2025, Miami Valley Hospital South became the first site in the world to open enrollment for the BELLA trial, which focuses on patients with platinum-resistant ovarian and related cancers.

These achievements reflect Premier Health's commitment to providing patients with access to innovative therapies through clinical trials while contributing to advancements in cancer care on both a national and international level.
