Premier Health continues to find new ways to make technology work better for both caregivers and patients.

The next Epic upgrade is scheduled for Saturday, November 7 and includes enhancements to interactive alerts that will make them easier to use and better integrated into clinical workflows. Additional details and training information will be shared in the coming weeks.

Primary care ambulatory providers also will notice updates to Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) alerts effective October 20. These changes are designed to support more efficient and accurate risk-adjustment documentation while helping reduce administrative burden.

Just as important as improving workflows is finding new ways to connect with patients outside the exam room.

Through Epic Cheers Campaigns, Premier Health is using targeted MyChart outreach to engage patients between visits and encourage them to take an active role in their health. Our first campaign focuses on patients with uncontrolled hypertension, helping them monitor their blood pressure, reconnect with care teams and stay on track with treatment plans.

We're already seeing promising early results, with patients showing improvements in blood pressure control. Those outcomes demonstrate the impact that proactive, personalized outreach can have on health and well-being.

Building on that success, the next campaign will focus on patients with uncontrolled diabetes, creating additional opportunities to support chronic disease management, close care gaps and connect patients with the care they need.

As these efforts continue to expand, Epic Campaigns have the potential to support preventive screenings, medication adherence, population health initiatives and more. Ultimately, the goal is simple: use technology to strengthen relationships, improve outcomes and help patients live healthier lives.

These initiatives reflect Premier Health's commitment to meeting patients where they are and bringing our We Care philosophy to life through innovation, engagement and personalized support.
