What is your clinical specialty? Urogynecology subspecialty, of OBGYN
Where did you go to school? Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine
What brought you to Premier Health? We wanted to be closer to friends and family. My husband is a Dayton Flyer and originally from Cincinnati, so this move brings us closer to both our roots and our community.
Why did you choose medicine as a career? I wanted to pursue a career where I could make a profound difference in someone’s life, helping them feel supported, empowered, and cared for.
Who are the people who influenced and/or mentored you? My family and my UROGYN mentor, Costas Apostolis, MD, have been my biggest inspirations and guides throughout my career.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you? During my college years at UNC Charlotte, I competed as a pole vaulter.
Where is your hometown? Virginia Beach, Virginia
What, if any, sports team(s) do you cheer for? We enjoy basketball and love going to University of Dayton basketball games together.
What is the last book you read? Variation by Rebecca Yarros
What is your favorite song in your playlist? “My Universe” by Coldplay
What is your favorite food? Mexican food with a margarita
What is your favorite hobby? I love being on the water, whether it’s lake life or beach life.
What is your favorite animal, and why? I love the ocean and have always been fascinated by dolphins.
Where is your favorite vacation spot, and why? Anywhere warm — the Bahamas are currently at the top of the list.
Describe something (a thing, person, place, experience, etc.) for which you are especially thankful: I’m especially thankful for my strong faith and for my husband and two daughters—they are truly the loves of my life.
