University of Alabama at Birmingham for undergrad and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine
What brought you to Premier Health?
The Air Force brought me to Dayton. My family really enjoys living in this area, so when the opportunity arose to stay and serve this community, it felt like a natural fit.
Why did you choose medicine as a career?
Watching reruns of MASH when I was a kid inspired me to pursue medicine
Where is your hometown?
I was an Air Force brat growing up, so I lived in several different places. However, I always say I’m from Alabama because that’s where I spent the most time and where I feel my roots are.
What, if any, sports team(s) do you cheer for?
I enjoy watching sports, but I’m especially a fan of playing racquetball. I enjoy the competition and staying active.
What is the last book you read?
One Hundred Years of Solitude
What is your favorite food?
Pizza
What is your favorite hobby?
Playing sports with my kids
Describe something (a thing, person, place, experience, etc.) for which you are especially thankful:
I am deeply grateful to my wife, Jennifer, for her constant support throughout my life and career. I would not be the person I am today without her.
