On a late Saturday morning, your dog gets out and you go chasing after him. In the process, you twist your ankle and it’s throbbing. After applying some ice, you realize the pain is not going away. Where should you go for a doctor to check out your ankle?

Your throat has been scratchy all day but not bad enough to go home. By the time you get home, have dinner and begin to unwind, you realize your throat worse and you’re feeling kind of warm. You don’t really want to head to the Emergency Department. Is there another option?

First Care After Hours in Beavercreek and Englewood After Hours Care in Englewood are urgent care facilities that deliver quality health care outside of traditional medical office hours to patients of all ages. They are staffed by board-certified primary care physicians with full-time medical practices in the Dayton region who treat a variety of injuries and conditions, perform physicals, provide immunizations and take X-rays on-site. Insurance co-payments are generally the same you would pay at your doctor’s office and often significantly less expensive that an urgent care facility.

These two after-hour facilities utilize Electronic Medical Records which allow them, and all other Premier Health (Premier) physicians, to have full access to your electronic medical records so your care can be coordinated with your primary care and other physicians in the network.

Office hours are 7 to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday at both locations, and noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at First Care After Hours in Beavercreek and 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Englewood After Hours.

Routine or travel immunizations and advice, along with routine, work or school physicals are recommended to be done by a primary care physician for continuity of care. But in situations when that is not possible due to unavoidable circumstances or if you are visiting from out of town or do not have a primary care physician, First Care After Hours and Englewood After Hours Care can cater the same services.
