COVID-19 Testing

Testing for COVID-19 plays an important role in determining effective treatment and prevention efforts for this disease and is a key aspect to re-opening our country. By testing people who are actively showing symptoms, medical providers can determine the proper course of treatment – which may be self-quarantining at home. Testing for antibodies after the illness passes can provide peace of mind regarding previous symptoms.

In partnership with the University of Dayton, the team from Premier Health, Fidelity Health Care, and CompuNet Clinical Laboratories continues to provide drive-up collection services at UD Arena, 1801 Edwin C. Moses Blvd., one of the longest running collection sites in Ohio.

Two types of COVID-19 testing are now available at this site – a screening test for people with current COVID-19 symptoms (requires a physician order) and an antibody test for people who are not currently experiencing symptoms.

The collection site only provides testing related to COVID-19. Those who visit the collection site for antibody testing should wear a mask if they have one.
