The Rapid Diagnosis Clinic at Premier Blood and Cancer Center is here for you when you need compassionate cancer care quickly. Led by our experienced team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), our clinic ensures patients are evaluated within 24 to 48 hours of an incidental finding. This allows for timely initiation of necessary diagnostics while offering emotional and educational support throughout each patient's cancer journey.
Our Services
Our clinic is designed to streamline care, ensuring patients receive the attention they need without delay. At the Rapid Diagnosis Clinic, you can expect:
- Immediate referral access for emergency departments, primary care physicians, and APPs through a dedicated, secure EPIC chat, enabling patient scheduling within 24 to 48 hours.
- Immediate access for patients to visit with one of our APPs within 24 to 48 hours, either in-person or via telehealth.
- Direct access to diagnostic testing and early evaluation through our clinic, facilitating faster diagnosis and care planning.
- Following the initial work-up, patients are referred as needed to one of our medical or surgical oncologists for treatment discussion and planning.
- We assist in connecting patients with primary care providers and other resources to support their overall well-being and continuity of care.
