Dr. Townsend was extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and gave real advice for continuing care at home.

Dr Townsend is courteous, respectful, knowledgeable and well-meaning. He listens without interrupting and he is genuinely interested in learning from his patients.

Other than long wait times to get an appointment, everything else is great.

Dr Townsend listened to and took seriously what I had to say. He seemed like a very kind and caring doctor and I feel confident that I will receive very good care from him.

There is always a long wait for the Dr to come in. We arrive on time and taken back to the room and have to wait 15-30 minutes before he arrives.

I love my Doctor. The supporting office staff, not so much.

It was 5 days ago since I saw the doctor who recommended to go for a stress test and the scheduler office suppose to contact me for the test, however, they haven't contact me yet and I have been waiting.

Sitting and waiting in the examination/consultation room with nothing to read for 45 minutes is really unacceptable.

My appointment was at 2:30 p.m. I saw the Dr. at 3:20 p.m. My time is valuable; this is typical . This was a Medicare annual visit, I was in my car at 3:30 and that was after making a stop at check out and making a 6 month follow up! My husband has had to make appointments and Dr. Townsend is usually not available so sees another Dr. in the practice. Also, if you have any cold symptoms, if you say you have a cough, you are sent home and can't see a Dr. Insane, if you are sick, sorry the Dr. won't see you.

The staff and my physician are very professional in caring for me! I appreciate being treated so well by everyone at Beavercreek Family Medicine! I have complete confidence in Dr. Townsend and would recommend him and his staff to my friends and colleagues!

As usual, it was an excellent time.

As a new patient, I've got to say I'm really happy I found Dr Townsend. I really like his style, and I feel very comfortable and confident with him.

Getting harder and harder to get appointments with a week or two

This was a first visit with my new physician, and I was very pleased with the experience. I would suggest asking patients to arrive sooner than 10 minutes to allow enough time to complete paperwork.

The issue I have is with the scheduling line. Every time you click 1 to schedule an appointment no one answers the call or returns your call. If this position does, not is not an option than change the voicemail. I use the MyChart app for appointments but I can't get an acute appointment on the app.

Dr. Townsend is an honest and amazing doctor! He listens to you and explains things well! Very personable! His nurse is awesome too!!

Dr Townsend is great. He is very easy to talk to and has a good positive outlook on paths moving forward with my health.

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience as a patient here. The staff is wonderful, and Dr. Townsend is the kindest, most patient, and informative provider I've ever had. I have been coming here for a few years now and am very satisfied with my treatment.

It was great....I did wait over 30 minutes in the exam room....little puzzled as I was his 1st patient of the day.

Waited longer than the doctor was in the room with me. Doctor didn't ask why i stopped taking the last medicine he provided me, which i thought was unusual. He didn't ask me about the last thing he referred me out to a specialist for, which i also thought was unusual. Seemed disinterested in continuing the care that he's been providing.

The ONLY negative about my appointment is that my appointment time was 10am. The Dr did not come into the exam room until 10:45. A shirt wait is acceptable, but 45 minutes is excessive.

Dr. Townsend listened to every concern I had and actually took steps for me to have those issues addressed, something my previous provider never did

I feel like the staff and my provider give wonderful and thorough care.

Need to consider off standard treatments.

I don't believe this provider has any bedside manners. I express my problems and I don't feel like this provider listens. I am told one thing and nothing is done. I was given a drug test and no one called me with my results and now the medication that I needed will not be prescribed. My drug tes was negative for all drugs... SMH

Dr Townsend makes it easy to talk to him. Was interested in what I said not just what the computer said but used it as a tool to see what bloodwork results were doing on the past and present.

Dr. Townsend has always been a wonderful physician to me and my Wife.

I was disappointed in the medical assistant. She was a bit cold during the initial intake- barely asked any questions and didn't speak to me much at all. She then was the one to take my blood. It was not a good experience. I would suggest more practice and maybe a phlebotomy certificate as she told me she does not have one.

I have seen a lot of practitioners for some unusual symptoms and it has been extremely difficult to get a diagnosis. Dr. Townsend has been a blessing in that he really listens and is not afraid to think outside the box. He helps me figure out the next steps to get the answers I need.

Had a great first patient visit. I feel like finally I found a doctor that listens to what I have to say not just one who tries to order a bunch of tests and get you out as soon as possible.

I understand the need for telemedicine but it is not as accurate or helpful as an in-person visit to my doctor or even an alternate physician. I think my recent illness would have been more aggressively treated if I had been able to be examined in person.

I appreciate my Doctor! He is personable, kind, thorough and knowledgeable! He is my favorite Doctor at this office! I have gone here 32 years and have had 4 of the doctors (some moved on) he is certainly the best!

I am a new patient of Dr. Townsend and have only seen him a few times. However, i have found him to be incredibly conscientious, thorough, and kind. He listens to my feelings and/or concerns and i feel like i have found a wonderful Doctor who is very willing to work with me on my health care.

The experience in the office was fine. It was after I left a bumpy road. I was sent to MV South for an after hour ultrasound of my leg. When I arrived the register could see my order but not register me as no one from the office called ultrasound to let them know I was coming. It finally got resolved after I called central scheduling. So future after hour orders have office staff contact the facility or give a paper order to the patient.

My son relates to Dr Townsend on so many levels. He is the perfect Dr for him.
