Empowering Patients with Symptom Checker

Premier Health patients—both new and established—can now access a self-service Symptom Checker to guide their care. This EPIC-supported tool, customized to Premier Health resources and physician advisors, is available through the MyChart menu or as a guest on the Premier Health website.

Patients can answer questions about their symptoms and receive personalized recommendations, including scheduling an appointment, starting an on-demand video or E-visit, or following self-care instructions at home.

By offering trusted, local care guidance, Symptom Checker helps patients avoid generic internet searches and directs them to the appropriate level of care within the Premier Health system. The tool also optimizes MyChart features and could expand in the future with additional symptoms, service-line decision trees, and regional routing options.

You can experience the Symptom Checker today as a guest through PremierHealth.com or by signing into your MyChart account and navigating to the drop-down menu.
