Koester Pavillion Welcomes New Administrator Greg Nijak

TROY, Ohio (November 17, 2017) – India Chrisman-Williams, LNHA, Regional Vice President of Operations for AdCare Health Systems, Inc., is excited to announce Greg Nijak as the new Administrator of Koester Pavilion. Koester Pavilion, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, is an affiliate of Premier Health and is located between the cities of Piqua and Troy, Ohio, on the campus of Upper Valley Medical Center.  AdCare Health Systems, Inc. manages Koester Pavilion as well as SpringMeade Health Center in Tipp City, Ohio.

Koester has been serving the community for 40 years and Greg’s experience and knowledge will help Koester continue the tradition of leading with care, innovation, and expertise,” said Chrisman-Williams.

Prior to joining the Koester team, Nijak has worked as an Administrator in the Dayton/Cincinnati area.  Over his 28-year career in senior living, he has led communities with both skilled nursing, short-term rehab, memory care and assist living services. 

Nijak has lived in the Miami Valley all his life and graduated from Wright State University. He and his wife reside in Springboro with their three children. “I am excited to join the Koester Pavilion team! Koester is unique in providing qualified rehabilitation for medically complex patients in and around the Miami County area and is a Five-Star facility for Quality Measures,” shared Nijak.
