Bylaws, Credentialing, and Peer Review

The Premier Health Board approved a new strategic plan for the 2015-2017 time frame. Over 150 physicians were involved in the development of the plan in the months from August-December 2014. One of the strategic priorities included aligning the medical staff across the Premier Health enterprise.

In 2014, Premier Health engaged The Greeley Company, a well-known national company that has particular expertise in the areas of medical staff credentialing, bylaws and peer review. Through a series of quarterly educational sessions, the medical staff leaders throughout Premier Health came together to hear best practices related to the organized medical staff functions. Through this engagement it became clear that we had opportunities to contemporize how we work together across the system.
