What screenings are available for uterine cancer?

There is no specific test that can screen for uterine cancer, according to the American Cancer SocietyOff Site Icon (ACS). The Pap test is effective in detecting cervical cancer, but not uterine cancer, the ACS states.

Symptoms are the best indicator of cervical cancer, but in cases where there are no symptoms, it’s important for women to be aware of the warning signs, states the Centers for Disease Control and PreventionOff Site Icon (CDC). Warning signs include abnormal bleeding or vaginal discharge, according to the CDC.
