Besides eating seafood, what other dietary changes should be considered?

It's very important to have a healthy, balanced diet. This includes eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, drinking lots of water and increasing the fiber in your diet. You should also decrease your intake of fried or fatty foods.

It can be difficult for patients to consider significantly changing their diets to improve their health. People are busy and there are a lot of different convenience and fast food options. It's important that we consider our choices to make sure that all patients and all families have options and accessibility to healthy foods.
