What are the pros and cons of using Botox?

Yeah, so pros of using Botox for treating your chronic migraines are that you don't have to take a daily oral medication every day, and the treatments are once every three months. Some cons are you have to get 31 injections every twelve weeks. But it is effective. Some common side effects are pain in the muscles that are injected, so you can get some neck pain. Eight to nine percent of people ironically get a headache after the injections, but that's easily treated with the medications you already have for your headaches. Two to four percent of people get weakness in the muscles that are injected, such as getting a droopy eyelid or a peaked eyebrow, or some neck weakness, and your head might feel a little heavy. But overall, it is very well tolerated with very few medication interactions.
