There is no definite answer to whether choosing to follow a gluten free diet will help improve symptoms of arthritis, according to the Arthritis FoundationOff Site Icon (AF).

Premier HealthNet (PHN) physicians say that there currently is no direct connection between gluten and arthritis.

However, there are ongoing studies to see how gluten affects inflammatory diseases other than Celiac disease, PHN physicians say.
