A child’s development can be affected by how they are exposed to screens. When done the right way, exposing children to electronic media can be positive for development, according to Premier HealthNet (PHN) physicians.

When parents choose software and apps that promote learning, including language and math skills, young children can benefit, according to PHN physicians. Parents being involved during game play, however, is crucial to the learning process.
