Nurse Engagement Survey Success

During Premier Health’s Magnet® site visit, which took place November 12–16, we were honored to express our excellence with outcomes in the Magnet “Big 3” – nurse engagement, patient experience, and nursing sensitive indicators (NSI).

While the Magnet appraisers do not decide our designation, they do compile a report by the end of November and send it to the Magnet Commission, a group of international leaders/representatives. The Magnet Commission will review the appraisers’ reports during the next available slot, and we should hear back in January or February regarding Magnet designation status for Atrium Medical Center, Miami Valley Hospital and additional sites, and UVMC.
