By: Annette Drake, MS, RN, CRRN, CBIS, Magnet program manager
Wright State University-Miami Valley College of Nursing and Health held its 19th annual Cameos of Caring® award program on Nov. 14, 2019 at the Schuster Performing Arts Center with 16 recipients from area hospitals. The Cameos of Caring® award program recognizes exceptional clinical registered nurses in the Miami Valley for their contributions to health care delivery and the community. The program also helps provide needed scholarships for students who may not otherwise be able to attend Wright State University.
Premier Health celebrated four winners from each of the sites:
- Atrium Medical Center: Robyn Hoffman
- Fidelity Health Care: Lisa Kinzer
- Miami Valley Hospital: Kelsey Bergman
- Upper Valley Medical Center: Tami McMillan
After being escorted by their site CNO and nursing leadership, each winner was awarded a piece of blown glass art while videos of their nursing experiences were presented. The winners’ stories will be available to view on the Cameos of Caring® Wright State University webpage.
