If using medication is not enough to manage atrial fibrillation (A Fib), what are other options?

When medical therapy is not enough and controlling the atrial fibrillation there are alternative therapies available. One of them is ablation procedure. Ablation procedure is performed in specialized lab where some catheters are introduced inside the heart to alter the abnormal electrical signal that is causing the atrial fibrillation. Finally there may be some patients who benefit from pacemaker if their electrical signals are not controlled by ablation therapy alone.
