COVID-19 Vaccine Availability

Ohio is now distributing safe, effective COVID-19 vaccines statewide to those who choose to be vaccinated. The state is strategically distributing COVID-19 vaccines that have been granted Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to Ohioans at the greatest risk. This rollout is being performed in conjunction with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM).

Ohio's goals are clear: to save lives and get students back in schools. While vaccine supply is limited, Ohio will follow a phased approach to vaccine administration. To see the anticipated rollout timeline and to get more information about this phased approach, visit the Ohio Department of Health COVID-19 Vaccination Program site.

As vaccine supply increases, Ohio will announce plans to expand distribution to include all Ohioans who choose to be vaccinated.
