COVID-19 Screening (Nasal Swab) Testing

Premier Health offers screening (nasal swab) testing at several locations throughout Southwest Ohio. Testing is available for people who are:

  • Symptomatic: Currently have symptoms of COVID-19
  • Asymptomatic: Currently don’t have symptoms of COVID-19, but who want to be tested or rule out a diagnosis of COVID-19. (Currently only done at UD Arena with a physician order.)
  • Preparing for a surgery or procedure and need a COVID-19 test before the procedure

Screening testing is available at:

  • Premier Health Urgent Care
  • University of Dayton Arena

Premier Health Urgent Care

Premier Health Urgent Care is actively testing and treating patients who are displaying signs and symptoms of COVID-19.  You can make an appointment at one of seven convenient locations. Please be aware that free COVID-19 testing is not available at any Premier Health Urgent Care location.

University of Dayton Arena

Premier Health and CompuNet Clinical Laboratories, in partnership with the University of Dayton, offer drive-through COVID-19 screening (nasal swab) testing at UD Arena, 1801 Edwin C. Moses Blvd., one of the longest running collection sites in Ohio.
A physician order is required for all COVID-19 screening tests at the UD Arena site. (Patients whose physicians ordered the test in Epic do not need to have a copy of the order at the time of the test.) At the check-in area, you will be screened for a fever and other symptoms consistent with COVID-19. A caregiver will swab the back of your nose for this test.

To ensure an orderly process, it is vitally important that if you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19, first contact your family physician or primary care provider and work with your provider’s office to see if you meet certain criteria before you come to the collection site. If you do not have a physician’s order, you will not be screened at UD Arena.

Hours Of Operation:

  • Monday - Friday: open 1 to 5 p.m. (subject to change)
