When Should You Get a Mammogram?
Even if you have no signs or symptoms, a screening mammogram can detect breast cancer. You should get a screening mammogram if:
- You’re age 40 or older.
- It has been a year or more since your last mammogram.
If you're under 40 and/or have a breast problem, talk with your doctor first.
