November is American Diabetes Month

The American Diabetes Association celebrates American Diabetes Month with the theme “THERE IS A HERO IN HIM, There is one in you, too” and the hashtag #ThisIsDiabetes. One in 11 Americans has diabetes, they encourage you to put on your cape and take a stand – be a hero.

The following information is available on their website to help you educate and empower your faith community to prevent diabetes as well as manage it for those with Type I diabetes.
