Conversation For Change

Do you know someone addicted to heroin or other opiates? Do they need or want help? East End Community Services is offering the opportunity for people to talk one-on-one with Facilitators and Peer Supporters about recovery from heroin addiction. They will cover topics such as: What are the barriers? and What kind of help do you need for recovery? Participants can bring a family member or trusted friend for support.

Additional opportunities include:

  • Talk with representatives about recovery resources.
  • Receive Narcan training and kits from Project D.A.W.N.

Dinner and refreshments will be served. A Kroger gift card is available to participants who stay for the entire session. These sessions are organized by community members who care and want to help!

Sessions were held in May and September, but there is one more session scheduled for November 16 at 5:00 pm, Linden Ave. Baptist Church, 101 Linden Ave., Dayton, 45403.

Please RSVP to Emily at (937) 259-1898(937) 259-1898.
