Network News - Oct/Nov 2019

Michelle’s Article

Fall is a great time of year to reflect on the joys of summer as well as enjoy the cooler days and changing colors. The holidays are quickly approaching and I pray for intentionality. May we shift our focus away from the bus’i’ness of the season to focus on quality time and enriching our relationships.

The Health Ministries Program has two events we encourage you to consider as 2019 draws to a close, first is "Youth Mental Health First Aid Training" on Oct. 30, which will educate participants on recognizing mental health in youth and how to assist when needed. The second is “I Promised Mom I’d Take Her Home: Assessment and Preparation of the Patient and Caregiver in Transition” on Nov. 15, which will be a part of our last quarterly Network Meeting. There is still time to register for both! See this issue for information on registration.

We have included many resources you can use to promote wholeness and healing in your faith community, don’t miss looking them over.

Peace, Michelle
