Network News - February/March 2020

It is hard to believe that we are well on our way into 2020! The Health Ministries Program is glad that you are still engaged in promoting and supporting whole person health for your community of faith and beyond. Don’t forget, it is time to complete and return your 2019 reports. Returned reports mean you earn a special gift. If you need assistance or don’t know about the report, don’t hesitate to contact me or call (937) 227-9454(937) 227-9454.

Check out the great information in this issue including our Community Resource Highlight on the Area Agency on Aging and upcoming programs: “Supporting Grievers of Traumatic Loss”-February 20, “2020 Medical-Spirituality Conference”-April 16, “Soul Shop: Equipping Faith Community Leaders to Train their Congregations to Minister to Those Impacted by Suicide”-April 17. Also, save the date of May 7, 2020 for our summer event titled “E-Cigs and Weed: What Faith Communities Need to Know about Nicotine and Marijuana”.

I pray that 2020 will be a new beginning for your health ministry teams and an opportunity to connect and empower each other to be your best, as God intended.
