Premier Health Partners (PHP) Purchases Downtown Property

Dayton, OH (April 15, 2011)—Premier Health Partners (PHP) announced today that it has completed the purchase of the property at 110 N. Main Street in downtown Dayton.  The property will be used to house corporate services for the organization, including information technology, scheduling, billing, finance and others.

“Premier Health Partners has a strong commitment to downtown Dayton and this solidifies our commitment well into the future,” said Jim Pancoast, President and CEO of PHP.  “This was a sound business decision that provides a positive economic impact for the downtown core of Dayton, which ultimately affects the entire region we serve, and enables us to provide a more modern facility for our employees.”

Factors that were considered in purchasing the building included remaining in the downtown Dayton community, considerable savings over the long term, and the opportunity to own rather than lease space for corporate services.  PHP anticipates retaining the tenants currently leasing space in the building and will be working to attract additional tenants for the first floor retail space.

The move is expected to occur in stages over the next 12-18 months.  PHP’s current lease at 40 W. 4th runs through April of 2013, which allows ample time to move as space in the new building becomes ready for the various departments.
