Premier HealthNet Announces New Commitment to Miami County Market
PIQUA, Ohio (December 15, 2016) – Premier HealthNet (PHN) announced today that it is expanding its primary care services in Miami County. Plans to open Upper Valley Family Medicine, a new primary care practice dedicated to the Miami County and northern Dayton communities, is anticipated to open early in the new year.
Upper Valley Family Medicine will be located inside Upper Valley Medical Center’s Outpatient Care Center-North, at 280 Looney Road in Piqua. The practice will become Premier HealthNet’s tenth primary care practice in the market to serve patients and work collaboratively with Upper Valley Medical Center.
“The health of our community extends to all facets of care including preventive checkups and emergent needs,” said Becky Rice, president of Upper Valley Medical Center. “Upper Valley Family Medicine will strengthen Premier Health’s commitment to the residents of our community, and provide another avenue through which it can help care for the patients it serves.”
This site also offers imaging service including mammograms, dexa scans and other radiology services, along with a lab draw station and occupational and physical therapy.
Details of the new practice such as the number of providers that will be offered at the location will be announced at a later time. In the meantime, patients who hope to receive care through this newest practice are welcomed at Premier HealthNet’s other local locations.
