Proud History of Improving Health Care
Established in 1984 as Middletown Regional Hospital Foundation, Atrium Medical Center Foundation raises funds to support the work of Atrium Medical Center. Over the years, generous donors have given millions of dollars to fund specialized services that meet serious health needs for residents of Southwest Ohio.
Through the Advancing Care for a Healthier Community capital campaign (2005 – 2008), our community contributed more than $5.1 million to create the Heart Center at Atrium Medical Center and fund a walking trail and other enhancements at the Atrium Medical Center campus in Middletown.
With the support of exceptional donors over the years, the Foundation also has helped to establish the Wilbur & Mary Jean Cohen Women’s Center, an outpatient dialysis center, a diabetes wellness center, and the Miriam G. Knoll Heart Failure Center. Generous gifts have helped the hospital expand care at Atrium Maternal Health Clinic, the region’s only Level III Trauma Center, and Atrium’s cancer center.
